So! Dropshippers are so wonderful huh!

Lets take one dropshipper, who is listed in Google.

http://www.dropshippers.com/default.aspx?rs=dropshippers.com

dropshippers.com  require you to either pay

$29.99 a month for their Auction Plan

or

$49.99 for their Website Plan

Continue to their http://www.dropshippers.com/products/browse.aspx

Products look great. Do some research on their products by a simple search on google, like 99% of the buying public, and you will find every item for sale on Overstock.com who use tv ads to attract customers. Difference in price, around 30%.
So your not just paying an extra $30 or $50 bucks to be part of the dropshippers site, but paying up to 30% more for the item you can buy direct from Overstock.

Does it add up peeps. Paying through the nose for an item, having to compete against a National TV ad campain and paying a monthly fee for it to begin with.

Hi,
Dropshipping is very good business. You can start your own online selling business without any upfront cost.

I think that only those people are against dropshipping who are dealing with Middlemen or who could never find Real Dropshippers.
Only Middlemen flood search engines with advertisement.Real dropshippers do not pay attention to this kind of advertisement. That is why it is so hard to find real Dropshippers on search engines like Google or yahoo.

Do not sign up with www.Dropshippers.com . They are only Middlemen.I know their supplier. They are not Real Dropshipper. You were dealing with Middlemen.

They are just using the Dropship Plan of another Dropshipping company "DropshipDesign".They have just integrated the "Auction Plan" of another dropshpping comany in their own website. The real Dropshipping company is "DropshipDesign".

www.Dropshippers.com will charge you $29.99 per month for Auction Plan. But Real Dropship company "DropshipDesign" will charge you only one time fee of $29.99 for their "Same Auction Plan". After this one time fee of $29.99, There is no monthy fee to sell their products.

See, how did i save your $29.99 monthly fee ?You do not need to pay $29.99 monthly to www.Dropshippers.com every month.Just pay $29.99 one time fee to DropshipDesign and then, there is no monthly fee.

Copy & paste the following link in the browser to sign up with Real Dropshipper company "DropshipDesign".

http://www.dropship-business.com/index.html?aid=271936

I think that www.Dropshippers.com have marked up the prices of products of real dropshiping company. That is why you are saying that their prices are higher.

www.Overstock.com does not stock or sell any products. It is just a platform like www.ebay.com .Other sellers sell products on www.Overstock.com
The only difference is that Big Retail Stores sell on www.Overstock.com . But I do not buy from www.Overstock.com because most products are refurbished, or Customer returns, or Open Box Products.I sell on www.Auctions.Overstock.com also. Only a few sellers know about Overstock.com Auctions.

BOTTOMLINE:- Dropshipping is good concept but it works only if you are dealing with Real Dropshippers, not with the Middlemen.
I am using dropshipping since 2005.i know all the real Dropshippers.I can tell in seconds that who is Real Dropshipper or who is a Middlemen.
Real Dropshipppers charges you a one time fee or they do not charge you any fee at all.Real Dropshipers never charge any monthly fee.
I am posting below 2 Real Dropshippers and 2 Real Dropship Directories:-
(1) www.RaniDropship.com ( One time cost of $99. No Monthly fee.Your own Website provide with no hosting fee)
(2) http://www.dropship-business.com/index.html?aid=271936  (One time cost of $29.99. No monthly fee.No Website provided)
(3) www.WorldWideBrands.com ( One time cost of $299. Too expensive. But America's # 1 Directory)
(4) www.WholesaleListsDirectory.com (One time cost of $29.95. No monthly fee.No website provided)

Thank you to all of you.
Have a good one.

Hi,

After reading all the posts related to dropshippers.

My stand point stays the same.

Do not join dropshippers that ask for one off payment, monthy fee or have minimum order requirement.

Think about this, if their products can continously sell well in the market why would they want to have a small one off fee to discourage you to do business with them in longer term???

Answer is simple: They have no confidence that you will sell their products well.

Dropshippers that did not ask for one off payment, monthy fee nor have minimum order requirement are hard to find, but there are some.

Again you need to do some searches / hard work yourself!!! No one is going tell you this if they found one. Why would people want to tell you this so that you can join and competite with them? No one will do that!

So you need to do alot of work yourself. *Asking people in forum to try to get quick answers are not recommended. If you are not prepared to do this, I suggest you to focus on your full time job (unless you don't have one).

On the internet there are many scammers out there, stay alert when people ask you for money... and have a think yourself on what people say, and no matter what they say.

I hope this will help.

Dropshipping is very good concept. It is the only way to start online business without any upfront cost.
I  strongly support Dropshipping.I was trying to explain the benefits of dropshipping. We can start our own online selling business with the investment of under $100.

After reading all posts regarding Dropshipping, My views about Dropshipping stay same.In my views, Dropshipping is the only way of starting online business for Beginners without any big investment.

I am not against one time low investment of $29 , $59 , or $99. But if somebody requires a big investment of $300 or more, that is not right. That big investment should be avoided.
Let us take one example:-

Costco Store charges a membership fee of $100-$200 to general public to let them buy from their store.
Does it mean that Costco store is not good ?

Does it mean that their products are not good ?
Does it mean that their prices are so high ?
Does it mean that Costco want to make money from membership fees ?

Does it mean that we should avoid Costco and we should not buy from Costco store ?

But so many people still buy from Costco store. It depends on that what kind of business model have stores  adopted.

If you want to start your own Online store Website business, what option will you select ?
(1) Will you like to save $10000-$15000 to build your website your self and to buy inventory in advance worth $10000 and stock products  in your home or warehouse .and will you like to  invest just one time cost of $99  to get your Online Dropship Store Website (Already preloaded with thousands of products) with NO HOSTING FEE EVER.

Just one time investment of $99 and no payment after this ever.

(2) Or will you like to save only one time investment of $99 and will you like to spend $10000-$15000 to build your own website yourself and to spend $10000 to buy products in advance and stock them in warehouse( you have to pay more money to rent warehouse). And You still have to pay $20-$30 HOSTING FEE every month for you website.

In option 1, You do not have to pay hosting fee or any other fee after one time investment of $99.

In option 2, you still have to pay $20-$30 hosting fee even after the investment of $10000.

So, it is real simple that do you want to save $99 or $10000 ?
Thanks.

Thanks for the opinions, and the time. After all the post are said and done now I can set back and scratch my head and think about the pro's and con's of this. Right now though Ebay is tearing me up on fee's and that was not enough I imagine the little brother paypal is involved so that if you sell an item it has to be paid thru paypal and they get another slice of the pie. When they are both finished you are hit hard. It was real slick how they slipped that one in on everybody anyway. Went from an option,  with cash, money orders, paypal, or cashiers checks to all paypal with no option. If you sell a $25.00 item you'll be lucky to have $20.00 left when it's all said and done..

Undecided  Would some of you nice, & kind blujayer's please tell me about the drop shipping deal.  How would you get hooked up with a company, or is it more trouble than you get out of it?  How do you guy's with experience with this feel about it. Do you spend all your time listing and no selling or how does it work. I will greatly appreciate any help or advice on this or any other matter that may help me to make a sell.  Thanks Edd  discodays53   Cheesy:D Undecided

BE CAREFUL DEALING WITH DROP SHIPPING COMPANIES, BECAUSE SOMETIMES THEY DON'T HAVE THE ITEMS IN STOCK. FOR EXAMPLE, A BUYER ORDERS AN ITEM FROM YOU. YOU SEND THE ORDER TO THE DROP SHIPPING COMPANY TO DROP SHIP. THEN YOU GET  AN EMAIL FROM THEM SAYING THE ITEM IS TEMPORARILY OUT OF STOCK. NOW YOU ARE LEFT HOLDING THE BAG AND AN UNHAPPY BUYER.

Thanks for that reply thats all I need to hear. I had wondered but you know what they say? If it sounds too good to be true is usally is.  I would also think if you are moving the products for them they would not charge you a fee. Not even A $99 fee.  Or a monthly fee either. Thanks for all the replys. Heck I can't even sell what I have already.

Hi,
To avoid "Out of stock " problems, deal with only those dropshipping companies which display stock quantity on their website.
Real Dropshippers always buy products in large quantities like 500,1000,2000 or more. They always display the stock quantity on the website that how many are currently in stock, 500 or 400 or 150.
Generally, these quantities of 1000 or 2000 last several months. When you see that only 50 products or less are left in stock, delete that products from your website or from auction site like ebay or blujay.
Thus, you will never face "out of stock" problems.
Thanks
