hope everyone survived the holidays! new year almost here, time to get in gear everyone... i am working on house cleaning today and down goes the tree!!

My crew survived the Holiday, but my son and his family were driving to NJ today and our daughter and her 5 year-old are flying to Germany tonight (her flight last night was canceled due to the weather).  I won't feel happy until all of them are back home safely.

We usually take the tree down on New Year's Day, but I am hoping to persuade my hubby to take it down Sunday.  We shall see.

I hope there is a spate of sales in January for all of us.  It is usually a good month for booksellers.  I had a nice one on the River this afternoon, but would much rather it be a Blujay sale  Grin.

yes  maam, it has been slow a few days for me,  which i need to start focusing on the new year and all of our bills, its been rough  very rough. i put a jacket on the bay  and got 2 times what i was wanting out of it, so that was a good thing. got such a list for new year of things i want to get done.  i just need to get motivated, stop being depressed and getting it done.  ihopethe family makes it home safely.  my kids took the tree down yesterday, now been catching up .  chat later take care  Smiley

Congratulations on the jacket sale, ltrracing.  I hope your son is doing well.  I know this has been a very hard year for you and I hope 2013 will be much better.

Sales have ticked up for me, too  Grin.  If only I weren't having such difficulty accessing these Boards it would be rosy  Wink.  I have really missed being able to get on the community board.  I am tickled to have finally managed it this morning for the first time in days.

Fall and winter are my favorite seasons, but it is reasonably temperate in Central VA.  We have had only a few snow flurries this winter and have had a few days that hit 70 recently.  Colder weather is on the way, I understand. 

I have been busy with a lot of activities for and with our High School Exchange students.  I have a huge amount of fun with these youngsters form around the world and their Host Families. 

Maybe next week I can find time to tend to my store here.  The shelves of books that need to be listed are waiting patiently. 

Hope this is a marvelous day for Blujayers.
