On a good day, when I'm full of energy, I could probably speed clean my house in 30 minutes, but....if I'm too exhausted, I would dim the lights and light some candles.
Always have a step ladder, an old can of paint and a drop cloth handy. When you see people in your driveway throw up the ladder, put the drop cloth down on the floor with the can of paint on it and claim you are in the middle of renovations.
