I've been here since 2005, and the few spam e mails I have gotten thru the years is so easy to see they are trying to play games, their e mails give them away.
As far as spaming my e mail address never happens or has ever happened thru this kind of asking seller a question about an item.
So security on this site is tops as far as I'm concerned and I think you would have to have items listed to make this a problem, wouldn't you think.
I agree on the out of country ones and prohibited items, when I see them I report them.....
Enough said as far as I'm concerned.

I, personally liked the first seller/store id you had when you joined the site. It was very unique, but you must do what you feel most comfortable with.
As for spam, you can't totally get away from it, but you can try to control it by limiting how much info you make available about yourself.
The handful of spammers I have encountered here and on other sites, were obviously individuals who have too much free time on their hands and like to play pranks. Ignore them and they eventually leave you alone.

This will sound stupid, but could you remove my quotes? There were some people who I gave the link from my old store to who I don't want to know I changed my username, so I'm erasing all the posts connecting the accounts. Thanks.
You have to go into every thread you posted in and delete the posts yourself.
But then can only do that if you are using what ever name you were using at the time.

Removing all your posts from the forums doesn't ensure that they are not still showing in Google though.
That being the case, the dots could still be connected.
